What: Audio via IP & Ethernet
When: September 13, 2005 7:00 PM
Our September Meeting was a presentation of the Telos Axia system, held at the RFA Conference Room.

Kirk Harnack of Telos / Omnia / Axia was the presenter. The program investigated how Ethernet and IP can be used for audio. The presentation addressed the problems inherent in real-time, low-latency audio over IP and how to overcome them, as well as what actual implementations look like.

The newest console, called the "Element" was also demonstrated. It is a modular console which can be expanded with up to 24 input channels.

Door prizes in the form of Broadcaster's General Store hats and a laptop carrying case were given out.
