During this hour-long discussion, Jacob Daniluck of Tieline discussed live streaming compression and uncompressed streams of audio and video that need to be ingested into your production environment. The first part of the discussion reviewed compression algorithms, and uncompressed algorithm requirements, followed by a discussion pertaining to streaming this data in real-time across a network link.
Jacob Daniluck is part of the Technical Sales Staff at Tieline; The Codec Company. He has been with Tieline for over 10 years and has been in the broadcasting industry for over 15 years. He has worked with stations throughout the world on building network contribution links ranging from small market to global market companies.
