Our December meeting was an opportunity to meet with the SMPTE Washington DC Section for an evening of great Food, Drink, and Conversation with our Industry colleagues.
This year's gala was held at Gordon Biersch, 900 F Street NW, Washington, DC 20004, just four blocks from the DC Convention Center, home of the Government Video Expo held the same day.

The Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) Chapter 37 is a very diverse group, including a variety of media professionals in the Nation's Capitol. Our members include local radio and television engineers, national and international network technicians, consulting engineers, electronics manufacturers and Federal employees working in broadcast related positions.
