The annual picnic, one of the favorite annual events of SBE Chapter 37 members, again lived up to our high expectations.  As usual, the picnic was held at the WMAL Transmitter Site.  This was an great opportunity to meet with broadcast engineering friends, spouses and families. As always, we had a wonderful get-together, told "war stories," played a few games, and dined on delicious food. It was also good to visit with members of neighboring SBE and SMPTE chapters.

This year, we welcomed Broadcasters General Store’s, Buck Waters, as a new picnic sponsor, joining David Eltzroth of ROX Electronics and Jim Peck of SCMS.
