The presentation will provide an overview and update on the Burk Technology remote control architecture featuring distributed intelligence, centralized control and virtual Network Operations Centers. Autonomous capabilities embedded in the control equipment at each site ensure that normal operations continue even when communication networks are down. Flexible tools for managing up to hundreds of sites provide fast access and consolidated information to engineers and managers in the office, in the NOC and in the field. The ARC Plus product line will be highlighted along with a close look at the Arcadia remote access and control system featuring both NOC-based and mobile user interfaces.
