Guest Speaker Brian Szewczyk of GatesAir presented two technical topics at our February meeting:

• A Total Cost of Ownership Comparison of Air-Cooled and Liquid-Cooled FM Transmitters
• How a Combined Importer / Exporter can Enhance both the HD Listener Experience and Reliability.

Fellowship and a light dinner, sponsored by GatesAir, began about 6:30 pm followed by organization business and Brian's presentations.  Brian brought us up-to-speed on new developments in radio broadcasting technology.  Thanks to GatesAir for sponsoring dinner and our friends at RadioOne for sharing their meeting facilities.

Brian is a Broadcast Engineering veteran with over 35 years of experience as a Chief Engineer and for the past 23 years as a Regional Sales Manager for GatesAir. Brian is an active Amateur Radio Operator has an Extra class license, was first licensed at age 11, and is active on 1.8 MHz thru 47 GHz.
