The SBE Chapter 37 annual picnic at the WFED (formerly WTOP) historical art deco transmitter site in picturesque Wheaton, MD will be held on Saturday September 21st, starting at 12 noon.   

The picnic is an opportunity to meet with broadcast engineering friends along with their families, spouses, and significant others. As usual, we'll tell a few "war stories" and dine on delicious fare from Beefalo Bob's, including: pit beef, ham, turkey, beef BBQ, italian sausage and peppers, vegetarian lasagna, and associated sides, snacks, and beverages. The chapter will also start collecting nominees for the board for 2025.

Our picnic is an in-person event. Although it's a bit unusual to utilize Zoom for this purpose, we're asking all attendees to register via Zoom using this Zoom link so we know how much food to arrange for attendees. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email.
